Congrats to all of our students who had perfect attendance in August! Mrs. Mootz and Sandy enjoyed handing out “Brag Tags” to all of the students with the honor.

Last week students who had perfect attendance in August received their “Brag Tags.” A “Brag Tag” is a plastic medallion that has the month which the student had perfect attendance. Each month we will award “Brag Tags” to our students. Each student was also given a chain to hang the tags on this year. We started this incentive to increase our attendance. Elementary school sets that school habit for a lifetime. Before COVID, Oak Hollow had about 69% of students on track with attendance. On track means that they missed 8 or less days in a school year. That is our GOAL. For the last two years, only 40-45% of our students are on track. This year, we would like to see 60% of our students miss 8 or less days of school. PLEASE keep your child home when they are sick, but otherwise we could use your help.
