  • Digital Citizenship (Will discuss next month)

  • SNAP (Will discuss next month)

    Online SCC Training: available online if can’t attend in person

  • Showed a presentation

  • Shared website

    Discussed school reopening plan

  • Most quarantined cases back next week

  • Positive Covid cases very low compared to our community

  • Students doing a great job using face masks

  • Teachers doing an outstanding job with keeping distances and

    cleaning procedures, washing hands, etc.

Halloween

  • Kids and teachers can dress up. No parade

  • Trying to make it a fun day for kids

  • Orchestra will play fun tunes in hallway on the 29th

    November 1-8 Parents can change online options

• Do not have any word from District if changes will extend to next

trimester grading period or through end of the year

Goal is getting teachers and parents use to using Canvas and trying not to overwhelm teachers.

Next week starts

  • No school on Fridays. (This will be an independent work day for

    students.)

  • Teachers will be sending home something that students can work

    on independently Looking at Budgets

    Land Trust

  • Money used to back up testing and improve student’s growth and

    progress

  • Goal By spring 2021 70% of all students will make typical or above

    typical growth as measured by Pathways to Progress report.

  • Pays for Instructional Aides, My On, Scholastic Magazines, subs

    for Julie Humphrey in Resource, and Technology (Chromebook

    Carts) TSSA

  • Money used for social & emotional development

  • .5 Full time counselor’s salary

  • Teacher’s aide in Kinder – 1st to support student development.

  • Textbooks: Morning Meetings and Second Step materials

o Teacher’s manuals on Circle Time in classrooms
o Teacher’s Learning to implement morning meetings
o Once a week teacher will have circle time in class. This is

built into schedule already
• Last year, SCC decided for this year, to work on English Language

Arts ( Landtrust) & Keep school Counselor (TSSA)
Cell Tower (Money from Verizon & Sprint)- budget approved by all.

  • Hired Lunch Room/Copy Room aide

  • PBIS-Positive Behavior & Support-check in check out.

  • Subs for DI Teachers. We provide an extra .5 days to prepare for

    Parent Teacher Conferences in the Spring

  • Subs for Partner Teachers. 1st and 4th grade partner teacher’s split

    teaching, Math & Language Arts. Subs used for Parent Teacher

    Conferences in the Spring

  • Social Committee: beginning of school breakfast & Lunch for

    teachers first week back, Christmas, end of year socials, Birthdays

    etc. for teachers. (We have no extra money to support teachers)

  • Water & Ice Machine, monthly rental fees

  • Cover’s dues for all teachers to join PTA

  • Teacher incentives: Chocolate, candy, teachers treats, monthly

    moral boosters

  • Stipend for French team lead

    Safety plan will be sent to all members.
    Next meeting, Shauna Jensen will present Digital Membership.
