Digital Citizenship Report – Presented by Shauna Jensen
- Common Sense Curriculum
- Teaching to become safe responsible citizens
- Making choices online
- Taught what to do in different situations
- Age appropriate
1x a month newsletter sent to teachers- teachers can access to address the issues.
Send out through Parent Connection at Parent Teacher conferences.
Taught by Brain Booster Tech teacher 1x a month in Technology class.
Safety Plan
- Safety of School
- Parent & teachers look at it.
- Last year – Someone mentioned issues at top of the stairs after school. Resolved issue with assigning teachers to monitor area.
- North doors now locked all day.
Evacuation plan
- In the Spring, we will have an off-campus evacuation drill.
- The LDS church on Rocky Mountain has agree to support our safety plan, so we will practice walking there as a school.
- Principal will organize this with the safety committee. Will inform parents of the date for this if they would like to participate.
- In an emergency, the district will contact parents through parent square and Skyward to instruct where and when parents to pick up students.
- Volunteers will help.
Sora
Myon will be refunded and sent to us. These funds will be used based on the Landtrust plan in place. Needs to be from what’s in place or an amendment made to change if we want something different.
- SORA is new online Library chosen by District Librarians that is
age & grade appropriate. This will follow District policies.
- App will be accessible to parents.
TSSP

- Suggestion of list of all things what we do. Possible survey to look at all things already and what would like to see done.
- What we do has to align with a goal and have an assessment to show if the goal was achieved. We use these funds to meet those needs.
Academic Level- Reviewed data sheet
While our proficiency is high, we received, and A rating from the state for our growth. We missed our goal by 1% last year ( 69% growth) but we had enough growth to show an A rating.
- Includes every student even if haven’t reached benchmark
- Amount of growth will increase each year as a school.
Pathways to Progress
- Teachers monitor reading math trough progress monitory weekly.
- Math and English students who need it get additional help.
TSSP
- Anti-Bullying in each class (2 lessons this year).
- Anti-bullying posters with definition of what bullying is and is not.
- Stop talk and walk.

- Asked Committee to look to see what changes would like to see within walking distance of school.

Let us know concerns and will send to Draper City. They evaluate and decide what needs can be met.
Will be looking at future. How to spend next year’s budget.
Talk to teacher’s use of aides. Want feed-back from Data and what they see is needed.
