Minutes approved from last meeting.

 

Landtrust & TSSP budget update:

  • Doing great on budget in Landtrust.
  • Had excess money in TSSP: Moved 2 aides from Cell Tower to TSSP.

 

No Data on growth yet. Will have Acadience testing on Jan 18 for grades 3&4, Jan 22nd for grade 5, & Jan 25th for K-2. Will report progress at our next meeting.

 

Landtrust & TSSP planning for next year:

 

  • Landtrust is State funded. Funds must be tied to an assessment. ELA goal & Early literacy
  • Majority of it spent for Reading Interventionists.
    • Next year would like to maintain this with Interventionists.
    • Has been very successful and very positive feedback on our Interventionists and success.
    • Aides trained on 95% program – Direct instruction.

TSSP

 

  • 117,00 dollars – Soft money allocated from state leg several years ago.
  • Permitted to use these funds for behavior.
  • Fund .5 of our school counselor and would like to continue this.
  • Moved the 2 aides to TSSP from Cell Tower.
  • Subs for Data Day & BLT Day.
  • .5TE – Amendment made this year to use aide money for .5 FTE for another 5th grade teacher. The district paid the other .5 FTE
  • PD – Conscious Classroom Management
    • Teacher’s comments: Really helpful. Practical and works on simple strategies. Teachers loved it.
    • Would like a refresher and move forward with more training and strategies.

 

 

  • Dreambox
    • Reevaluate next year to see if helpful for teachers.

 

Vertical Alignment – For Writing

  • Faculty & BLT
  • PD was for teachers by the district was useful. Teachers would like support with teaching writing.
  • Plan needs to be submitted for TSSP.
  • Due April 9th.

 

Positive Behavior Plan

  • School is reviewing our current PBIS plan and will make needed changes.
  • BLT will meet to finish this.

 

Perfect Attendance

  • January = 60% students have perfect attendance
  • Next meeting will have the data on % of students on track for 2nd

 

Recess Guidance Plan:

  • Air quality, monitor is up on roof. Students stay in at red. Student with breathing issues may stay in on Orange.
  • Reviewed our current plan. All agree to the plan.

 

Cultural night – April 25th, 6:00 – 8:00

  • Several workshops
  • Food Trucks being ordered by Shayla Streiff
