Oak Hollow holds White Ribbon Week every year to teach students about safety online. Shauna shares a monthly newsletter with teachers about Digital Citizenship. Shauna sends monthly communication to parents.

c) Election of new members
Maria made a motion to approve our new members, Nicole Gearing & Jacquelyn Eckert. Jalaine approved the motion. Nikki seconded the motion. Motion passed.

d) Finalize School Safety Report, Digital Citizenship Report and Safe Walking Routes
reports – these are due November 1
Last month the principal sent out Safe Walking Plan from last year. There are no
updates from the committee. Only changes, we deleted our request to have a
crosswalk on Adobe and Vestry. Draper City said current cross walks take care of
this request.

e) Update on ODR (office discipline referral) data from past five years.
This year all teachers were trained on the new PBIS (positive behavior intervention and support) system. We are seeing more major behaviors this year. The BLT (building leadership team) will further analyze the data to see where we can improve.

We will ask for Safety Concerns at our next meeting. Meeting adjourned at 4:45pm
