MEETING AGENDA
II. BUSINESS
a) Approval of minutes from previous meeting- minutes were approved
b) International Dual Language Conference- proposal to cell tower funds to send 8 dual language teachers to International Dual Language Conference in SLC in October. ( see attached)
Discussion about this. Maria Babin will be presenting at one of the sessions. ISD is paying for two teachers to attend. Propose to send the rest of the teachers. Teachers will need to share a strategy or session summary in their PLC next year. Parents and teachers felt it is a great opportunity. Registration needs to be paid by August, before our first SCC meeting. Committee approved funds for this. See attached. This will be a line item in the 24-25 cell tower budget.
c) Membership and positions for upcoming school year- Shayla will send an email to members to gauge interest in continuing. This will determine if an election will be held in the fall.
